Thurrock Open Door launches new website and web-based service

Following a generous grant from Awards for All earlier this year, Open Door has launched a new website and web-based service.  As part of the improvements, we gave our branding a makeover too.  We hope you like the new look Thurrock Open Door and would welcome your comments, email us.

New premises for Interventions and a valuable asset for Open Door

In August this year Open Door bought new premises, 16 B Orsett Road, Grays, for use by our Interventions Service.  The new building has been refurbished to a high standard including a helping hand from Thurrock Council’s Low Carbon Economy Programme to implement some environmental measures to help us become more efficient.

The building houses five self-contained sound proofed counselling rooms, a  group room and office base for the team all creating an ambience conducive to supporting our client group.

Hilary Lydon Interventions Manager said’ ‘this is absolutely fantastic for Interventions and for its service users.  We will be working in our own environment and can make sure that the ambience is fitting for our client group – we can’t wait’.
