Service specific

A new home for a much used and much loved service.   Open Door’s Interventions service will soon be moving, to newly refurbished offices.  The new office, based at  16B Orsett Road is across the road from Interventions old base.  The new offices have been refurbished to a high standard, specifically to accommodate the service needs of Interventions clients, including a suite of sound-proofed counseling rooms and group room .  A grant from Thurrock Council’s Low Carbon Economy Programme ensured the building is environmentally friendly too.

Hilary Lydon, Interventions manager said ‘this is absolutely fantastic for Interventions and for its service users.  We will be working in our own environment and can make sure that the ambiance is fitting for our client group – we can’t wait’.
